Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, 冰上迪士尼 proudly honors the incredible individuals who bring magic to life both on and off the ice. This month, we celebrate breaking barriers, honoring traditions and inspiring the next generation. 冰上迪士尼 is proud to recognize and celebrate the passion and talent of those who are skating towards their dreams.

Samantha Lew, 冰上迪士尼 Skater

Samantha Lew began skating at just 9 years old and in 2021, she proudly joined the cast of 冰上迪士尼. Performing with 冰上迪士尼 has allowed her to inspire future skaters and help make their dreams come true, something she treasures. Samantha draws strength from her Chinese-American heritage, with the values of hard work, perseverance and community guiding her journey on the ice. During AAPI Heritage Month and beyond, she hopes to show the next generation of AAPI skaters that embracing who you are can lead to extraordinary achievements.

Bryan Santiago, 冰上迪士尼 Performance Director

Bryan Santiago joined 冰上迪士尼 in 2011, beginning his journey as a Principal Performer before stepping into the role of Performance Director in 2016. In his position, he finds joy in mentoring and developing talent from across the globe, helping performers grow both on and off the ice. His daily motivation comes from his favorite quote, “No day but today,” a reminder to live fully and lead with purpose each day. Through his leadership, Bryan continues to shape performances and inspire others around the world.

Vanessa Navarro, 冰上迪士尼 Skater

Since beginning her skating journey at just five years old, Vanessa Navarro has brought passion and heart to every performance. A cast member of 冰上迪士尼 since 2022, she treasures seeing the crowd’s reaction each time she steps on the ice. Inspired by her Chinese-American heritage, Vanessa proudly celebrates the strength, perseverance and community values that have shaped her both on and off the ice. During AAPI Heritage Month and beyond, she hopes to inspire the next generation of AAPI skaters to embrace who they are, chase their dreams with confidence and find pride in their journey.
