Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month
As Hispanic Heritage Month begins, Disney On Ice is proud to shine a spotlight on the incredible individuals who bring the magic to life both on and off the ice. This month, we recognize our talented Disney On Ice cast who bring their rich cultures and vibrant stories into their roles to create magical experiences for audiences in communities across the United States and around the world.
Azul Diaz, Disney On Ice Skater
Azul began skating at just 9 years old and joined Disney On Ice in 2023. Now a proud cast member, Azul loves bringing joy to audiences and seeing their smiles from the ice.

“Being a Hispanic professional figure skater is not just about athleticism—it’s about representation, pride and storytelling. Touring the world with Disney On Ice gives me the opportunity to share the richness of my culture, especially through performances like Encanto. Bringing this vibrant story to life on the ice allows me to celebrate the strength, love and magic that lives within every Hispanic family, and it’s an honor to connect with audiences through a story that feels so personal and powerful. Performing as a Latina has been such a blessing and I hope to inspire others to work hard and dream, because if Disney On Ice has taught me anything, it’s that no matter where you come from dreams can come true.”

Sabrina Marshall, Disney On Ice Skater
From the moment she laced up her skates at just 5 years old, Sabrina knew she had found something special. She joined the cast of Disney On Ice in 2018 and has cherished every opportunity to share her love of skating with audiences around the world.

“Being adopted and somewhat removed from my culture has been a difficult dynamic to navigate. I’ve always looked for representation in movies and shows while growing up, and I felt so empowered when I saw myself in the characters on my television. One thing about Disney On Ice that has kept me coming back year after year is the amount of diversity we see in its shows and stories. We often forget how important it is for kids to feel like a part of their communities, and seeing themselves represented is what drives passion and commitment to keep bettering ourselves as individuals and strengthening our connections to one another.”

Alan Brussolo, Disney On Ice Regional PR and Marketing Manager
Alan has been with Disney On Ice for nearly four years, where he brings his passion for storytelling to life as the Regional PR and Marketing Manager.

“As a Hispanic Regional PR and Marketing Manager with Disney On Ice, my heritage plays a meaningful role in how I connect with communities around the world. Our culture is rooted in storytelling, family and celebration—all of which align beautifully with the magic of Disney. Whether I’m working in Europe, Latin America or across the globe, I carry that cultural pride with me, helping to create campaigns that resonate deeply with fans and honor the diverse voices that make Disney stories so beloved.”
