The Internet Can’t Get Enough of Mike Wazowski’s Epic Disney On Ice Moment
Disney On Ice presents Spotlight Magic! made its highly anticipated world premiere in Orlando last weekend, kicking off the newest Disney On Ice production with a dazzling celebration of beloved characters, show-stopping performances and plenty of surprises. But one moment in particular has quickly gone viral, featuring Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc. Mike unexpectedly falls into silver confetti and reappears emulating a glittering disco ball, swinging and spinning high above the ice in a scene that has audiences, and social media, completely obsessed.
And if Mike’s sparkling turn looks a little familiar, Monsters University fans may recognize the inspiration. In the teaser for the Pixar film, Mike gets an unexpected and hilarious disco-ball makeover. That memorable moment has made its way to the ice in Spotlight Magic!
