On July 14, 2026, Disney On Ice<\/em><\/em> marks its 45th Anniversary.  We honor four and a half decades of bringing Disney stories to life through the artistry of world-class figure skating and creating magical family memories in communities around the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story began on July 14, 1981, when Walt Disney\u2019s World On Ice<\/em> premiered to a sold-out audience at the New Jersey Meadowlands. It was an exciting new idea: combine beloved Disney characters with the grace, athleticism, and excitement of live figure skating to create an experience families could enjoy together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No one could have imagined just how many hearts that first performance would touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, Disney On Ice<\/em><\/em> has welcomed more than 350 million guests, visited 577 cities across 80 countries, and shared Disney storytelling in 41 languages. Today, eight unique productions travel the world, continuing to create magical moments for families everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
