Becoming a Disney On Ice skater may seem like a fairy tale, but it’s a goal within reach for aspiring professional ice skaters. And often that dream begins at a local learn to skate program. Disney On Ice will be hosting private US Figure Skating Clinics at preselected ice skating rinks around the country, where ice skaters-in-training are taught skills first-hand from Disney On Ice professional skaters. In between offering tips and suggestions to forging your path to becoming a professional skater, our Disney On Ice coaches help students hone their skills, from daring jumps reminiscent of Simba’s leaps to spins inspired by Cinderella to completing complicated axels.
